A month of daffodils and leaping
lambs, a wondrous time to be living in the country. The drive
to work makes me feel especially happy that I don’t have
to deal with traffic and all the trappings of city life. The clocks’
changing has given us extra time in the evening to potter around
the garden and walk the dogs. And this time of year is especially
busy in the garden, so all extra hours are gratefully utilised. |

| The festival and party season
will be upon us soon. We would really love you to send pictures
of your antics so we can get to see what all you lovely customers
look like especially great if you are wearing Nomads at the time!
So, onto my soapbox. How is the
water drinking going? The bottle carriers have been selling really
well, but then maybe that’s because a wine bottle fits beautifully
as well.
My next suggestion is to purchase
a reusable bottle and put a water filter on your tap at home. We
also have one here at work, which was incredibly easy to plumb in,
and takes out loads of the nasty stuff that tastes bad. Note the
technical detail there! I would highly recommend a company called
Rivers of Health. Give them a call on 01725 517001. At present their
web site seems to be under construction, but the people there are
very knowledgeable and happy to talk about the benefits of this
system over a reverse osmosis one. |

your waist? Jo at the Lit fest. Cornwall 2007 |
There are so many
benefits to having fresh water on tap that doesn't’t have
to be packaged in plastic bottles and transported around the country.
The bottle issue is becoming an increasingly large one as the number
of bottles being dumped is something like a million everyday, and
that’s just in this country. They are non biodegradable and
are causing massive landfill problems. |

At the beginning of the month
all of the crew here went to Osho Leela in Dorset to do a personal
development weekend called Aflame. www.aflameonline.com We started
with a Firewalk on the Friday night and went through many highs
and lows together. |

The result has been increased openness
and love here in the office. With us all looking out for each
other and generally enjoying coming to work more. I think we have
all benefited from the experience, some more than others, as is
always the case as everyone needs different things at different
times

So no change there then!

Sadly, Lisa has left us this month, we went
out and celebrated, twice!! Not that she was leaving, but that
she has been such a fantastic person to have around, always positive,
bubbly and dedicated to doing the best job that she could.
Her leaving night was celebrated with a
slap up Indian meal at the local curry house, the follow up was
a girls night at Jutta’s house with a Mexican theme, a fair
amount of tequila was drunk in the guise of numerous different
cocktails into the wee small hours of the morning.

A great time was had by all.
It was great to see her again, and we hope to be having another
bash soon. The boys have expressed sadness at not being included,
so a rethink may be needed on that front! |

Yay, we have found a lovely new
recruit. Shallon will be starting in a couple of weeks, a big welcome
to her.
Next seasons collection is here
and we are going through the selection process. It’s looking
good and we are all rather excited although busy. More to come
Lots of love Vicky
