Process Guidelines
The various spinning, knitting dyeing and finishing processes executed at Pratibha for organic cotton are as per guidelines laid down by the “North American Organic Fiber Standards.” The American Organic Trade Association lays down these standards. Apart from this we also abide by the IVNAssociation requirements. Organic cotton is kept segregated from conventionally grown cotton at all production stages. Care is taken to protect the organic integrity of the fiber. The fabric is processed with low impact dyes and finished with prescribed agents only. Organic fiber products are stored such that contamination from environmental sources and prohibited substances is avoided. Subject to the buyers choice we pack the goods first in craft paper and then polysheets.
