We’re proud to be GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards) certified which is the gold standard for sustainable processing of textiles.
A GOTS label in a garment means that you can be sure that it has reached the GOTS specifications of social and environmental compliances that cover the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labelling, trading and distribution of textiles.
Our GOTS license number is DK26875
If the garment doesn’t have a GOTS label but is labelled organic it means that the factory producing the garment is not GOTS certified. However, you can rest assured that the fabric used is and that the land and farmers have not been subjected to polluting chemicals. For our smaller producers, the process of certification is too high, so we rely on our personal knowledge of the factory and transparent relationships.
BAFTS (The British Association for Fair Trade Shops) is a network of independent fair trade shops across Britain set up to increase awareness of fair trade groups and products that are developed and sourced through ethical trade. We’re proud to be a BAFTS accredited supplier.
BAFTS provides a structure of accountability to its members who adhere to the 10 Principles of Fair Trade as set out by the World Fairtrade Organization (WFTO). Membership is determined by peer-to-peer assessment which takes place annually and ensures that members can provide evidence of their fulfilment of the 10 Principles of Fair Trade.
We are proud members of Common Objective, an innovative online platform with a big ambition – to take sustainable fashion from niche to norm.
All members have one common objective – to build businesses that have a positive impact on people and the environment, and we work together to provide complete transparency in our production and supply chains. Common Objective builds on ten years of work by the Ethical Fashion Forum, which now reaches a global network spanning 141 countries.
